Default Is It Possible To Disable Lane Indicators?

Is it possible to disable the one-touch three-flash lane indicators? I've got quite used to them but I still get annoyed when I want them on fully but they stop just before I start to turn.
My mates 58 Corsa has a trick with the pedals and stalks to activate/disable many features such as this, but I'm guessing if it's possible the Vec will need a tech2 session?

I don't think you can, yes it does get very annoying, sometimes you just want the flash 3 times but it stays on or you want it to keep flashing but it goes off after 3, even now after having the car for 2 and half years i still can't work it properly. Can get frustrating at times.

I was initially frustrated by this when I first drove the Vectra C when it was launched but I quickly got around it by,,,

a quick flick up or down to the first resistance gives me the three flashes
A lifted hold up and released can give me a single flash (but I have not often found a need for a single flash infact it now annoys me that the wife's car only does a single)
Lift up/down past the detent resistance it goes on permanent and is the only annoying part as at times I feel I am about to rip it off the column if I try to do this and steer at the same time, but I am probably being heavy handed!

This is probably the worst feature of the Vectra. I am surprised it was not dropped at the facelift. I think it is a safety issue to be honest. In fact it is not just the indicators. The wiper stalk is horrible as well. I rarely can get the rear wiper off. Just this morning, it took me no less than 8 pushes before I got the click to tell me they were off. Like the OP, I find I get the 3 flashes when I want them to stay on, and they stay on when I would wnat the 3 flashes. My last Mondeo was similar, and I much preferred the older 2002 Mondy that had good old fashioned indicator controls.

I agree, in fact can I say I actually like them.
I drove the wifes punto a couple of weeks back and took really bad having to cancel the manually when exiting slip roads and roundabouts etc.
To the OP id say just give them a harder push, its easy to feel the point at which you go past the 3 flashes and connect with the on all the time position tbh.

I don't agree William, I find it far better than the old way personally

Everyone to their own. Personally I prefer a control that can be relied on to do its function and in as simple a way as possible, which sadly the touch stalks in the Vectra can not. Myself and the OP are hardly the only people to feel this way. This 'feature' is one of the things picked out for criticism in some of the journalistic reviews from the time the Vectra C was first released.
