Default HID colour temperature - choose your side

After finding the standard headlights next to useless at 5am on the way to Trax i have taken the plunge and got some 4300K HID's for my car.
I went for 4300K because i want my lights as close to OEM as possible and 4300K is what all manufacturers fit as standard and they give the best light output which is my main reason for getting them.
So what have you fitted and how do you find them.
You can also use this thread for your recomendations. I used HID' Direct and my kit cost £69 including P+P.
Error free and work fine so far so cant fault them and a million times better than standard bulbs.

You will be wasting your time with the main beam as HID's take a while to heat up. Cars with Xenon main beam as standard have a shutter in front of the bulb to get over this problem.
Flashing your headlights could become a problem.

Ok, so not on a Vectra as mine's gone but I went for 5000k (not in the poll) for my bike. Not as blue as 6k but much more usable light IMO than the 4300k. Best of both worlds really . http://www.hids4u.co.uk/h7-35w-propl...rsion-kit.html

I would imagine the difference between 4300K is tiny.
