    Default Motorcycle thief - no helmet

    The original thread was lost in August, this was when the police refused to give chase when they saw the burglar because he wasn't wearing a crash helmet.

    Agreed no sympathy if that's how he lived, then that's the natural outcome.

    I know the owner/driver of the van and it was confiscated while the incident is investigated.
    Through no fault of his own his life has been turned upside down by this and he has even lost out on work (self employed). So to read that the police let him go because he wouldn't wear a helmet is a joke.
