Default What would be your next car??

Thinking of selling the Signum now we've sorted it. I just hate driving it now, been so long with the problems enthusiasm has gone and I want something new. Want something with the power, bhp and a 'family' car for our 2000miles journey we do every year which was the only reason we brought the Signum because it was big and comfortable and we could through so much in it for our holiday.

Got a few ideas of other marques but not sure yet, just want a car that someone won't play with

Depends on if I win the lottery or not. If I dont win I think it would be a new Golf. Good luck selling the signum I had no luck.

I would consider any German or linked to Germany car. Never another Vauxhall !!!. I hear that Korean cars are doing really well now!

Personally I like the Seat Leons, they have the engines from VAG and our old Ford Galaxy (Volkswagen 1.9Tdi) engine never had any problems !

    good luck

I would go for a Skoda Superb. Bags of room and comfort. More leg room than the Signum, yet can seat 5 and with a proper sized boot. Classier inside as well, with VW build quality. Not sure what the engine line up is as I only looked at the 1.9TDi (105 bhp) and 2.0TDi (140). I would be in one now rather than the Vectra, only I couldn't get a used 2.0TDi for love nor money, and couldn't afford brand new. Easily the nicest cars I have ever sat in with a view to buying (better even than some BMWs and Mercs I have travelled in, and certainly roomier).

I'd seriously consider either a Skoda Octavia (Laurent and Klemens spec) or a Skoda Superb. Both very nice cars, and they go reasonably well. Two very friendly and helpful dealers nearby as well.

I'm more than happy with my Vectra's replacement, which is the Skoda Octavia VRS, just feels nicer tbh, now I really loved my Vectra but after driving it recently I'm not feeling that anymore

Octavia is nice for 2 people, but has seriously little leg room in the back (looks like a Vectra sized car but is really only Astra equivalent) and has only driver and passenger air bad, no side or curtain bags. Superb is a better bet.

Which vRS? Mk1 1.8T petrol, Mk2 2.0TDi or petrol? I used to have the original. Mk2 not as nice as they have made it to brash looking with the seats and red calipers (green was much more unique).

I have a superb, Seven months old and 30,000 miles done in it, It has only used 1 liter of oil but has poped about 6 head lamps. Underpowred with 105bhp though, But I take the VXR out to forget that lol.
