    Default Gsi cam belt kit.....

    does anyone know of the best place to get the belt and tensioners?

    autovaux is £92 delivered and euro is £100 collected.

    thanks if you can help.

    Jeebus, that's cheap! Where are you getting it done? Midpoint Garage want £298 for the belt change & £172 to do the water pump.

    the water pump isnt off the cam belt, do you need it done?

    it was a deal when i bought the car..... get in.....lol

    It doesn't need to be done but most recommend having it done at the same time because it's the same amount of work (and cost) to do just the pump at a later date.

    not true m8....imo.

    look at the your own prices - they are not the same.

    you're talking about two different belts - the drive belt and the cam belt.

    the drive belt powers the water pump not the cam belt.

    You need to remove the cam belt to get to the water pump, then refit it, hence its going to cost you the same price as it would to have it done at the same time.

    The prices were £298 for the cam belt and £172 for the water pump while the cam belt was off.
