I have a 1.9 exclusiv and I had the blue connector and the wires on. I just bought the switch of e-bay two days ago. I don't know how to tell the difference but at least the light turns on.

Vehicle : Insignia 2.0L CDTI SRI hatchback

    Trim : Black leather

    Engine : A20 DTJ 128 HP

    Year : 2009

    Mileage : 126,000

    Thumbs up

I also purchased a TC switch of ebay and fitted it, when i press the switch the check/warning light comes on in the dashboard. This the check/warning light between the rev counter and the speedometer, it works as the front wheel spin freely, without the engine reducing its output....

You have a 2004 3.0 V6 CDTI, it should already have a TC switch!?!
Furthermore, it should also have ESP
Exiting out of roundabouts and bends you may notice the warning light flashing

The question is not about the switch, neither did I respond about the switch

The switch is only fitted to those models with ESP, either by option or a V6
