    Default Fitted SRi Seats :D

Ok, so the BIGGEST styling mod I've done in any car I've owned, but I've changed the seats over!! More cos I hated my old light blue/grey soft seats.

I forgot to take before pics but got a during and after instead!

I also got the door cards and although unsure about having black door cards next to the blue/grey dash I'm gonna change them over anyway as then the fabric will match the seats.

Gotta say I didn't think they'd be much difference but these seats are awesome, even the missus who moans when I'm out fixing the car said what an improvement they are over standard to sit in and look at.

So now my LS is only front fogs, alloys and 3-spoke sterring wheel off an SXi

Anyone wanna buy a light blue interior going cheap???

Don't like the colour of your old seats, but I have to say I find the SRi front seats very uncomfortable due to how hard they are and how narrow the flat part of the base is between the edge ridges. To fit in at all, I have to make sure I have nothing in my trouser pockets. First long drive (only 70 miles) I did after getting my SRi, I actually went numb!

Some interiors suit some people - I've always found Vauxhall fit me nicely, A couple of Nissans I've driven, NOT owned I might add, give me chronic lower back ache. Found my old Laguna years ago was the most comfortable car I've owned!

I'll only be changing the door cards, there's too much blue dash, centre column and round the doors to be bothered to buy and change. I'll live with my interior being 'different' to everyone elses

I'm driving up to Brum and back again Wednesday (2 hours 100miles each way from here) so see how it feels after that - I'm sure no worries though.

It's my birthday in 2 weeks (ok I'll be 32 not 10) but asked by the missus what I wanted I've emailed her a link for some -30mm PI springs - I mentioned they'd compliment the stiffer SRi seats LOL. See if I get away with that After that I'll find a cheap set of standard alloys off fleabay and that's me done. Just hope the car don't blow up making my efforts and costs pointless!

Mate them seats look soo much better. I have never liked the blue interior in the Vec's. Thats looks better and will fee soo much better. Chaneg the door cards too, I doubt you will notice it much. But if you do, just change the lower half of the dash bits....easy enough then the interior will be all black.

    Good job though. !

I think they look ace mate, and big improvement over the originals.

My wife drives a linear sport saab 93 and seats in that are like the LS ones, soft with no support at all.

I have just come out of a 58 plate type r and if you think these seats and set up are hard and narrow you should try having one of those for two years lol.

as everyone is saying try and get rest changed, or colour it. I have got a friend who had a audi A4 and had a horible horible horible brownish interior, he bought a cream leather set of seats, and bought a sort of dye for the dash, dont know where here got it, but it did transform the interior!
