    Default Tyre pressures on 19's

    Hi

I have had to go and get my wheels balanced today as the stealer failed to do it, myquestion is whats the correct pressure for the 19's

    it had 38 all round

the guy in the tyre place who was refreshingly polite and well mannered and took greta care of my wheels said they should be 35 and has re adjusted them all.

    Is thuis correct?

any help appreciated as i dont yet have the handbooks for the car

most tyre places use the rule of thumb X2 the rim diameter hence the 38psi (19X2)

According to the Vauxhall hand book, it is 35psi rear and 39psi front. Thats what I have set mine to.
