Default Problem with Central door module, stuck on closed, help!!!

    Hi guys,

I replaced the front door on my brothers Vectra 2005 today and first of all everything was working fine, locking, unlocking etc, so the trim panel went on and open and closed the door a few times, lock etc, then all of a sudden the door wont open and it sounds like the central locking module is not even clicking etc, the trim panel is not screwed on at the bottom but due to the fact that the front part of it is between the door and the dash it looks like it will be a problem to pop it off.

Does anyone know how to open the door without causing any damage, we replaced both the passenger side doors as they were damaged when we got the car so we could easily take the back door off again if there is a trick to get the door open.

    Thanks

Thee is no cylcinder on the passenger door, only the drivers side dorr,

We replaced both the passenger side front and rear doors, the rear one works fine as did the front one but now the front one is stuck even though the lever pulls up and down!

    Thanks

    your dead locks are on

    PDM is passenger door module

    DDm is drivers door module.

These are the black boxes behind door trim,

Did you swap these modules from your old doors?

If you didn't then you will not open doors, as you will not get dead locks off.

    Hi,

Thanks for the reply, No I did not change the door lock modules other, didnt know I had to, the back door works fine with the new module on, if its down to the door module can it not be fixed via Tech2?

Or is there a trick on how to get the trim off with the door shut?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi guys,

I have an horrible feeling that the fuse for the LH door, which is a 30a in position 19 iirc has gone, only problem is that vauxhall in the infinite wisdom have gone and put the fuse box at the end of the dash on the LHS where the passenger door is stuck, lol.

Another funny think is that the petrol flap is stuck closed now and the interior light does not work, anyone know what wires I need to find inbehind the glove box, which I have removed tonight to be able to bypass the fuse to get the door open at least?

    thanks

you can take fuse board out, from inside car.

Modules are inside front doors only

You could program new modules if you have security code for them.

Easiest way is to change them for your old ones
