    Default Problem... HELP!

Hi guys, i have recently been getting problems resulting in the spanner light that doesnt go away. It usually happens when i stop or am idle. When i had the codes read before it come up saying boost sensor and solenoid. How much is the boost solenoid and is this the problem? Anybody help?

EDIT: also, where is it so i can replace it?

Dan you just need to remove the engine cover (3 torx screws) then undo the electric clip then use a 8mm ring spanner to undo the torx bolt (be careful not to drop it). Once out you will see a little cage with the sensor ( looks like a grain of rice) gently clean it using a small paint brush and some carb cleaner or let it soak in some WD40. HTH

Danwells your p1105 code relates to your secondary vacuum sensor circuit and your po105 is boost pressure sensor . so i would start looking in the area of your vacuum hose connectors for leaks and splits the p1105 fault may be indicating that one of your actuators is going faulty
