that the turbo's are on back order at the factory. Seems like mine can't have been the only one going pop recently then!

They've been on backorder for sometime now. This only applied to the re-con units though. Push for a brand new replacement.
hmmm now this is interesting,i`m selling a brand new turbo for a 2.2 diesel
that will fit your cars,is your cars under warranty ??????

Spoke to my service manager today and he assured me that they have ordered me a new turbo from Vx.
i`m glad its gettin sorted m8,
just bit of info for ya if you don`t know,ask them wot the part number is
for the turbo thats been fitted and if it begins with an "R" then you will
know its a reconditioned and exchanged unit as thats how they code them
up,i have the part number for a new unit if you need it.
