confused Rubbish SRI front Skirt thing

Im happy with the standard look of my SRI, other than this one bit.. The more I look at it, the more I dislike it, it looks cheap, naff, its dull grey rather than shiney black like the rest of the bumper, its got a silly gap in the middle that doesnt meet up properly, its just looks poor..

Sorry if its been discussed before but, what can I do guys. I havnt got oodles of spare cash so hundreds of pounds on Irmy doodahs might be out of reach for me.. Is there something aftermarket cheapish I could replace it with, or anyother suggestions.. Thanks...

I tried the Autoglm stuff on it once, it made it nice and black, better looking, but lasted only a couple of days.. I guess getting it painted will do it.. Was wondering if there's a better (already proper painted) trim say from of a different model that would clip on in its place ?? Or is there a cheap aftermarket replacement spoiler type thing that could replace it...?
