    Default Prep work

To keep the costs down at the body shop i have decided to do most of the prep work myself.

What i would like to know is what is included in prep work. I know i'll have to make minor repairs and strip off the old paint and sand, but sould i prime with cans?

i have done this before and done a good job on most cars.

    What do you guys think?

I would be surprised if a sprayer would let you prep, seeing as it has such an effect on the finish.

I know and he does a good job as well. he did my old focus when i tidy'd it up from a really bad spray job. (not by me i might add).

Speak to some car lots and ask where they get there cars painted. I found my guy from a recomendation from a scrap yard of all places.
The cheapest quote i had got before was £600.
