    just got one of the kids beach towel micro-fibre from decathlon very impressed its aabout 4ft by 2.5ft for 9.99 dried the car in no time at all

    Just make sure you wash it after the kids have used it on the beach. Just imagine the havoc sand would play on your paint work!

    Ive yet to try a MF towel for drying the car but have tried an MF cloth and was not impressed, didn't really absorb the water. Appart from size difference are the towels much different to the cloths?

    micro fibre scratched the **** out my old car, never again! chamois leather all the way.

    the mf you've tried are for polishing these are designed to soak up water,and do a good job too . i'm not sure how you scratched your car with mf when drying it as the car should be clean after washing it, if you were using a dirty mf then of course you will sctatch it. just keep the drying,cleaning and polishing mf separate
    chamois leathers mmmmmmmmm now they are a step forward.
