    Default dimming..

    Hi Guys

just thinkign driving home last night.. (after been out running 3,5 miles with 25.000 other people)

That my light switch didnt change the light in the buttons even when i used the knob that should change how much light there should be!!

I cant remember how it should be..

also there was no light in the little knob that you actually use to ajust the dashlight..

And also it didnt change the light in my "indirect" night lightning.. i think to recall that my last interiur mirror did change the indirect light.. when playing with it...

    anyone that can tell me...

the led on the mirror does not come on with the lights, it actually comes on when it is dark. there is a sensor on the mirror that controls it

I believe the switch leds illuminate all the time when the ignition is on only. When you unlock the doors, it shouldn't illuminate, also when you turn your lights on with the ignition off it shouldn't illuminate, only when the ignition is on does it light up, hth

No it shouldn't do, it's on a "different" circuit to the rest of the dashboard buttons, as I said, it only comes on with the ignition. I think the idea is, if you dim the interior illumination it won't dim the light switch illumination as you need to be able to see it clearly at night without fumbling around for it
