    Default Skoda VRS Detail....

Well as the sun seems to be staying out and I've got too much time on my hands I thought I'd spend the next day or two giving the VRS (sorry its not a Vectra lol) a proper clean and being a bit anal and cleaning in all the deep dark places too so the whole car gets done properly.

At the min I've taken off the number plates, and washed the car, just waiting for it to dry now so I can begin with the paint restorer and go from there.

Anyway heres a couple of pics after washing said car...

One thing thats really annoyed me with the paintwork since I got the car were these small scrape marks on the drivers door handle.

A quick 30 seconds with some AG paint restorer and its looking like this.

Once the car is dry I shall go over it and clean up any duff areas of paint as well as removing all the little bits of tar that I can see, I'll update this as and when

I like a properly cleaned car, but when the time comes to get rid, it makes no difference!

I stopped the garage cleaning the car for me as I'd rather do it myself.

Slowly getting there, all the door shuts and hinges have had a good wipe down.

Ah, lovely car, I had forgotten just how nice the Mk1 Octavia vRS was. I prefer black (the colour I had). Much nicer interior than the Vectra, and the seats did not murder my back side like the hard narrow seats in the SRi.
