Question rear ashtray keeps falling out

my rear ashtray keeps falling out, is their a trick to getting to workcorrectly,

You can see the little catch type thing in the back but the ashtray does not seem to ltach onto it enough to keep it in.

I have the same problem with mine. Every now and then I get fed up with it rattling around and chuck it in the boot. can't see any way of latching it in.

I had thought about glueing it but thought i would see if there was something i could do to make it stay closed/in as it should do.

@Caveman_nige Same here...I got a new one off e-bay and after that I managed to repair the old one. The litlle bit of plastic in a U shape is the problem. Try to get the feet apart a litlle bit and then put it back. It work for me. But be careful, because you can easily break it.
