can any one help me what is the correct tyre pressure for a 1.9 signum with 19 snowflakes front and rear
i run my vxr reps at 38psi
I do 40 front, 38 rears...
Been done to death but everyone says 38, owners book says 40 IIRC...
i do 40...40...
double the wheel size +2
That rule is rubbish.
Why would you change the PSI of the tyre for different rim size. For a 16" Rim it's recommended by Vauxhall to have the front and rear tyres at 35PSI (Not 32 as that rule would calculate too).
The weight of the car is the same what ever rims you have on. The PSI in your tyres is "calculated" on the cars weight.
For my engine in the Signum the correct PSi for the tyres is
16" = 35/35
17" = 35/35
17" = 35/35 (different tyre size)
18" = 35/35
19" = ??/??
Every other engine size has a pressure through the tyre size range that's exactly the same.
