    Default Smearing please help

    As i been getting into cleaning more now me cars getting to how i want it to look, just done windows with meguires window cleaner and noticed in the sun there,s what looks like oily smearing on all the windows which i cant get off ive used cotton cloths ficro fibre cloths all to no aviale. Any idea WHAT IT COULD BE AND HOW TO GET IT OFF PLEASEEEEEEEE cheers Ralph

    try a crunched up newspaper /or some water/vinegar . i hate doing windows i use ag fast glass and thta normally works . khalid

    I use AG glass polish and although dusty does a good job

    always apply the polish / cleaner in one direction (i.e. up and down) and then remove it an the other (left to right) this way you will ensure you remove it all -

    if its smeary then it sounds like there still not compeltely clean or the product that your using isnt cutting through the grime

    i use fast glass but have used the megs and the ag stuff is loads better

    Go to your local supermarket and buy some ecover window cleaner its exactly the same stuff as ag fast glass only difference is , its a quarter of the price
    Driving vauxhall,s for 30 + years
    and still loving it

    Sounds like you might have some wax on the glass, I do it all the time and it makes the windows a right ******.
    Needs window cleaner with vinegar in it, to get it all off.
    A hate windows with a vengence , will try Deztroyers tip next time I do mine.

    try cleaning the inside of the glass too

    other than that the vinegar tricks above and use a quick detailer in future to clean the glass (these also bead)
