    Default Help !!!!!!!

Hi, I'm in need of some advice. My wife has a ' bright red ' corsa. Over the years the top half has changed to a dull red/pinkish colour. Can anyone make any recommendations on what products I can use to restore the cars colour. I'm also assuming i'll need an electric polisher as well. Thanks in advance, Ian.

Really you just need to polish and wax this to restore a lot of the pinky ness. something like meguiars ultimate compound + a good wax. I reccomend claying the car first but its not really needed unless you want a silky smooth glossy finish. You can use most polishes by hand or with a machine ones less effort for your arms than the other

hi mate you can use any polish to remove the oxidisation from the paint and it can be done by hand but i would recomend using a machine. I have done this many times on customers cars.

If you are using a machine i would recomend 3m fast cut plus and then 3m ultrafina. then make sure you seal it. I use cg jetseal or fk 1000p and then a good coat of wax collnite 476 or 915.

Hope this helps. and pics when done

Something like AG SRP will work wonders(BY HAND) on oxidised paint.

As said above, i'd clay it, but not necessary... G'luck.

Sounds like I best get buying then, I guess ebay would have most of these unless you think I should get products elsewhere. Either way sounds like i'm in for a busy few weeks.
