    Default how do you wire a sub into the standard CD70 Navi

    Hi guys ive got a vectra c elite it has the standard cd70 navi headunit in iam wanting to link a subwoofer into the headunit. I was wondering is there a way of doing this. Many thanks

    if im correct you will need an amp with a high volume input as the normal input through tho two aux cables is a low input so the sound is better when it's amplified and you will need to take a splice off one of the normal car speakers and wire it into the hight input on your amp then take the remote feed for amp from cig lighter.

    This is what you need mate.

    Take a connection off your rear speakers and hook them up to this(item above) via the line cables then run the RCA leads to your AMP then as said run the AMP Remote to your ciggy lighter.Then wire up the AMP and the world is booming to your sounds.

    dont pay £50 for it though car audio security have them for £15

    Just trying to make it clear in my mind...

    Would it mean that I essentially loose the rear speakers?
    Does anyone have the installation guide that should come with it?

    (Novice with anything audio related)
