Some say push the mirror in fully on the car body side then take a screwdriver and gently push through the gap on the outside of the mirror and it will pop off, I just used a screwdriver along the edge of the cover and it pops off quite easily, think its only 2 "push" clips that hold them on, 2 or maybe 3 cant fully remember.

Firstly move the mirror glass inwards towards the car, then use a flat screwdriver and place it behind the mirror glass, the glass should pop out without to much effort, dont forget to disconnect the wire for the heated mirrors, now you should see the clips on the inside of the mirror casing, just squeeze these together and push gently to free from the housing, once these are free there is a small plastic pin left to ease out beside the inner part of the mirror, the cover should now be removed.Hope this helps
