Vehicle : Vectra and a Signum

Trim : top of the line in both

    Engine : Z18XE,Z19DTH,Z20NET

    Year : 2006

i had some nasty scratches from bird poo that got rubbed about (its full of grit), I clayed the panels first then used Megs Rubbing compound then Autoglym SRP, followed by Megs Carnuba wax. I am no pro at this, but these worked for me. If you have a rotary polisher is does help.. not cheap but work it

I have a rotary and have managed a few cars now. Results are really good but it is a LOT of hard work!

If you were a bit closer to me I would happy lend it to you (type IV19 1HB into google maps!!)

I would recommend maybe getting it done professionally initially then it is just a case of upkeep on your behalf? A good rotary (I have a silverline) will be less than £50, throw a couple of pads in and some decent polish (SRP or Megs) and for less than £100, you could be doing mates cars in exchange for some Snowflake tokens.

Have a look on www.detailingworld.co.uk for some helpful hints on using rotary's and DA's.
