Hi all my thread dissapeared after the forum went down, basically found my oil was overfilled by about 1 litre, now that i have removed the extra oil using home made pump through the dip stick tube i feel the car is running better than ever, sees to pick up quicker better responce, probably just placebo, looking for things to improve but driveability does seem a lot better. have been driving car with an extra litre for just under 1 year, uncle arnold did the last service and had over filled it.

You were lucky, the engine could of ended up running on the excess oil.
