Default Just a heads up on cheap oil

Just a heads up but was in cost co yesterday and they have a selection of Oil Castrol and mobil 1 for petrol and deisel in there which seem very cheap.

5ltrs of mobil 1 0w-40 for petrol was just under £29 Inc VAT.

    Was the one in Birmingham.

Just thought I would share incase anyone changing oil soon

Dont you need 5w 30 and not 0-40? Is that not too thin?

5w30 is appropriate. vx recommends. I think 0w might be too thin for the engine, especially in summer
