    Default I need some advice!

I own a lovely Vectra Exclusive 1.9 ctdi 56 reg. the only problem is that I would like to do some upgrades to it. Now because next year we are going to have our first baby and my budget will be cut off for sure.
For the moment I am thinking of two major things. I don't know if it is possible, how much will cost and if there is someone around my adress ( CO9) who can help me with the fittings.

    1. Fog lights with signum chrome covers (my car doesn't have fog lights at all).
    2. Aftermarket HID kit

and later on some nice rims...

Thanks for your help in advance!

both are possible. hids are availible in aftermarket kits,

Fog light will need to be programmed via tech2 providing your loom supports them

The HID kit costs between £70 and £90 depending from where you buy and takes less than 1 hour to fit.
Commonly recommended is HIDs Direct :

... the 50w 6000k kit is an excellent choice at £65.

Yep, that's exactly what I found as well only here. But I was thinking about 4300k. They seem whiter. But I am a litlle afraid to try the fitting by myself, even if it looks easy. I would preffer someone who did this before...
What about the fog lights? Can them be installed, light switch changed and they are going to work like a factory fitted?

You will need to check with VX whether or not your cars on board computer supports front fogs, if it doesnt you can still fit them using a manual method and by fitting a switch in the cabin.

I did some searches on the internet and the only method is a tech2 for the canbus, all wiring, the fog lights and a new light switch with the front fogs button included. I knew all this...but my question is if anyone did this, know how to do it...and know how much it will cost.

this is a Tech2? If so..who has one?

@DasArab I preffer not to have fog lights...rather than install that monstrosity of retro fitting.

Ok. So the HID will wait for the moment but, I have received today a new light switch with fog lights as well. Tommorow I should receive the loom for the fogs. Now, can anyone tell me what model of foglights and covers should I search for my Vectra facelift and if it is possible to put signum chrome covers? Thank you.
