Default The plan for next week

I'm lucky enough to be on holiday next week. SWMBO thinks I'm decorating the bathroom (and I will!) but I want to get a few jobs done on the car:
    1. Sort out the reversing sensors! Since this thread http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showth...hlight=plonker I've had no time to try and get 'em working, but I've now got hold of a new kit, which has shaped spacers for the sensors, so I should be able to angle them to get them working properly (I hope!)
    2. Fit my ICE-Link FM for my iPod. I've been messing about with all sorts of bits of hardware for a DIY job, but the ICE-Link is much more elegant. Anyone want a bag of bits to do their own?
    3. Tidy up the bodywork -my car appears to have the car equivalent of a sign that says "kick me " on it somewhere, so I want to rub down and retouch the rear bumper and front valence.

Oh, and give it a bloomin' good clean, too!

Should keep me out of trouble.......

Duncan's respray makes my quick bit of re-touching seem very simple, but I only got scraped by short-sighted B&Q customers......
I won't be able to be at the meet, as I'll be in a hotel down Ledbury way, celebrating my big brother's 50th birthday.
Maybe another time, but I'm not sure I can get my car shiny enough to compete with the Vectra-c standard!

Well, after a good week off (and an excellent weekend celebrating my Brother's birthday ) I'm happy to say that I've now got working reversing sensors (the wedge shaped spacers worked perfectly) and the ICE link FM is doing an excellent job with the iPod. it was a bit fiddly to fit, and I had to think about the best place to get the power from (I tapped into the phone harness in the end), but it works very well.
I've currently got the cradle fitted in the box under the centre arm rest, but I may move it to the dash, as soon as I can work out how to make it share a bracket with my phone cradle!

PS Oh, and the bathroom's done, too!
