Picked her up for 200 squid, i then got her back to the unit and stripped her down...52k on the clock.

Good job mate, well done. I like the fact that you have done it sympathetically, ie restored it to how it would have looked when new as opposedto throwing stick-on bits at it. IMO, thats how these cars should be restored, exactly like that. Its a beaut mate

cant remember the last time i saw a car with a 'dizzy' on the end of the camshaft.
Thats one of my first cars mk2 cav, I had a E reg 1.8 GLS, back in 1993,
They look real old now tho.
