Question Will this fit my Z20NET?

Have hunting around to find a stainless downpipe and sportcat for my engine. I know there is MIJ but they want just short of 500 notes for the job and when i asked for a Vec C discount i did not hear from them again.. I am not writing them off I am just trying to find a local one to me or a mail order place that can ship them ready made..

Now seeing as these excellent engines also exist in the Saab 93 Aero I went looking in their kneck of the woods as there is a lot of support for the B207R engine as they call it..

I cam across this, its in Yankieland but would work out way cheaper.. However will it fit to my system or are the bends different for a vec/signum?

the bend off of the back of the engine should be the same - but then the way the exhaust hangs under the car could be completely different it could hang half an inch higher or lower and that could put the flexi under stress - but TBH i would be suprised if its not the same - ideally you need the chassis off of a B207r engine and contact saab for the part no of a standard downpipe....
then off of a VX with a similar engine (newer facelifted 2.0 znet ) and see of the part no's match - if they do then there is no reason why this one wouldnt fit either - i'll send you a pm mate

Don't forget that it's the B207L that is the same as the Z20NET. The B207R is the 210 BHP model with the different turbo.
