How 2 add AUX IN in pre-2007 CD70 models

For those want AUX IN and not have all tools/pieces for this operation, I CAN help, BUT, must send the cd70 navi in Romania / Eastern Europe. I have Tech2 also.

A massive thank you to yysnet. Whilst up near Glasgow on Monday I met up with him to do some Tech2 work on his car whilst he kindly upgraded my CD70. Well spent an hour today fitting the aux socket and tray (off of eBay) here's the finished result.

Is there any way to know if your CD70 needs this mod or not? I have a 2007 Astra H, in the test menu I can see that it is HW: D3.40/04.04.2007

It does however has an old software (23/09/2004) which I'll get updated next week. I'll also ask my local dealer (in Belgium) to enable AUX via tech2.

That aside, if my cd70 would need the mod, does anyone know where I could get this done in Belgium?

If the CD70 has aux-in from the factory, the 'Aux' option will appear at the bottom of the list of sources if you press the Audio button twice.

So, there is no way the radio would have the necessary components for AUX (avoiding me to do this mod), but just doesn't have it wired up to a socket?

Will i need a radio code after i remove the stereo? Also how much does it cost tog et tech2 plugged into it?
