    Default Snow flakes?

Since buying my Vectra I have noticed that there is a black SRi at a house around the corner. It looks very nice except for one thing. It does not have the really nice 17 inch ten spoke SRi wheels. The wheels look bigger but actually look a lot like the wheels that my Mondeo Edge had. Five spoke with each spoke branching into 2 an inch or so from the top. Are these these 19 inch snowflakes mention here. If so I think they are rather plain looking.

Sounds like Snowies but as mucklestone points out they are not what you'd call plain. Do a quick look through the Parts For sale section, usually a thread in there with some for sale to check against.

Yes but without the bimper damage . Those wheels look just like bigger versions of my old Mondeo's standard 16 inch wheels. I do like the size (but your handling, comfort and fuel economy must suffer), but I think the standard 17 inch SRi wheels are actually a much nicer design. Pitty tehy don't do them in 18 inch (as big as I would go on the Vectra to still allow a little rubber between the wheels and the road).

Is that not a scrape on your front bumper? Maybe it is just a reflection? Do they do the SRi 10 spokes in 18 inch?

Despite the fact that the wheels are not to my taste, the Vectra is nice looking in Black. Must be a lot of work keeping it looking so nice. Black is very unforgiving. I used to drive a Mk1 Octavia vRS 1.8T in black. It always looked great for about 5 minutes, but even gitting it dried after washing without white water marks was difficult. I loved that car, but give it up due to the crap build quality. The drivers door fell off due to metal fatigue in the hindges, just about everything electronic in te engine failed regularly and the coil packs............. I would not touch another VW group car after my experience........just too much time off the road. It had to go as soon as the warranty expired.
