Default Kurbed Alloys but not my fault (this time)

Evening all. Glad we are back up and running again.

Had a problem this week which left me feeling a bit gutted.

On my travels to work each day there is one bit of road which gets very narrow with a blind and rather sharp right bend. All of us sensible drivers go through it at around 10 MPH before it opens up to a very nice striaght county lane.

Well on that day I came across a "one of the major Courier companies" Lorry driver (coming the other way) who decided he needed to hit around 25-30 mph though this small gap and pushed me on to the kerb over a 20 odd foot distance.

Bang go my nice nearside almost perfect alloys. Now I have rims scored with nice chunks out of them and to be honest they look a right mess.

    Am I alone I wonder.

Well now I know what my next project will be.
    Hmmppphhhh

No you are not alone, had my car over a year with mint condition alloys. Was going round a corner, which is quite tight, to drop my mum off an some to**er chav decides to come the other way at about 25-30, swerve to avoid an smash goes the rear nearside on the curb!

It looks horrible and now I know its there I cant stop looking!

    could have cried lol

As you, I now have a new project

Makes ya sick doesn't it. You spend alot of time keeping your motor nice and then it takes just one pratt to mess it up again in matter of seconds.
Ah well the joys of driving to work i spose.

No, you're not alone. It doesn't matter how good or how many advanced driving tuition you've had these days, there's always some prat who can't drive but is sure it was not his fault. One nearly had me coming home tonight, pulled out from a back road straight in front of me (about 3 metres) doinng 30mph on a 60mph main road. I had two choices, emergency stop with a queue of cars behind me, or use the turn right lane to go round him.
On a wet road as well.

i know what ya mean. I take pride in my cars and always have. Last nite i was sitting in along line of traffic waiting for lights to change, which on this stretch of road do takes ages (two way traffic 50 mph A road) and some T0***R!!! in a Mondeo decides, screw the the queue and charges right down the middle of the road at about 70, then jumps back into the traffic at the lights, forcing others to slam on.
On his rampage down the middle of the road, he is showering loose stones that gather in the middle all over the line of traffic. Result,,,,,,chips in the doors and bonnet, they sounded like rocks hitting the car.

I just don't understand these drivers who can't wait. If im stuck in traffic then fine, find a good CD and wait it out. Some just cant wait though and seem to be on a mission from god (love that film though)

Its because we have pride in what we drive, they are most likely in company motors and only part of the "drive like a TW*T club"

Stick on a good cd like Envy said an your set! Should just follow them home an show them the same courtesy they showed you!
