a little advice needed please

ok cut a long a sad story short my veccy engine died on me last week, just decided to sieze up...

so im left with a predicament, new car or engine. I wanted a faster car anyway, so this has finally gave me the oppurtunity to do it, its a 2002 SRi 1.8 ( slow as my gran )

how easy is it to drop either the GSi 3.2 or 2.0T engine in, i have a few grand to do the job, and before u say buy a new care, i dnt want to, i like mine and want a new project as i have a company car on the drive. Also what about the saab engines? they have some nice ones and unsure if to use one of them.

if u guys could give me details on what is needed for the GSi and 2.0T swap that would be great. im after as much power as posible.

If it was me and I had a few grand spare I would look out for a crashed damaged one same colour then repair it any sort of engine change will be hard IMHO unless you have a donor car to strip

i was thinking that, get a scrapped veccy and use all my good bits but keep there engine and just respray it pearl white...
