    Default Bit of Information

Just found out my cousins husband is trading in his mark 4 Astra for a 55 plate Vectra 1.9cdti (not sure which) Is there anything I need to make him aware of regarding the engine etc, obviously can let him know about the rest of the car. YES I will be telling him to join uo when I see him at the weekend for my auntie & uncle's ruby wedding anniversary (his in laws)

The 150 is a bit gutless low down , hope the 120 isnt the same . on what ive driven over the years the 115TDCi mondeo is very gutless until you wind it up , whereas the 130 TDCI has instant go stab the throttle and its off , very impressive engine , reckon its better than the 2.2TDCi as an all rounder even though that has loads of go , now ive put a D-T-U-K tuning box on my vec its improved the car no end , vastly better to drive and no need to gear down mid bend because its gone into lag mode halfway through the bend .

As much as it pains me to say it, The 2.2 TDCi in the Mundaneo is the best Diesel engine I've yet driven. Absolutely effortless power, just too thirsty for my likeing though. Couldn't get more than 36 mpg out of it on my commute, whereas mine won't go below 41 - 43 mpg no matter what.

Then again, mine still doesn't work properly!!

Just trying to find out if there are any problems he should be aware of, think he will probably have chosen the 150 but not 100% sure
