    Default Black Facelift AFL Headlights, close up pics please??

    hi guys, im picking a set of these up, they are silver ones not black, but i will carefully split them, and paint the masks black, so if anyone with afl's can u please put up close up pics so i can see what to paint and what not to.

    thanks mate, very nice car indeed, love the colour too.

    between the xenon and full beam, is there a bulb there? looks like it

    Yup - that's the directional bulb that comes on when you're either indicating to turn and stationary, or turn the wheel beyond a certain angle. All part of the adaptive functions...

    ah i see, and i take it the xenon moves too? also is the bulb xenon or just halogen?

    Yes the main xenon beam moves too, but not the full beam. Also, when you select full beam there's a shutter that opens up to allow the full xenon beam to show, along with the second bulb so you get a lot of light. With AFL the main beam is a proper Xenon/HID bulb, and is changable to the different colours. I've got 6000K ones in mine, and they look a lot better than the 4300k ones fitted as standard.

    If you're being really chavvy, you can fit them to the fog lights as well...

    It came with the chrome ones, but I got some black ones from eBay as the look so much better. The full AFL was fitted from the factory as an optional extra...

    ah rite get ya, ive bought andy's ones, but i will be splitting them apart to paint the inserts, just hope everything goes good
