i is in need of some advice please chaps if you can help. 2 days ago i had taken out 2 phone contracts through carphone warehouse for me and the mrs. All was well 2 iphones delivered,got them set up but we had no service. 18 hrs later still no service. Voda said cpw had not set up connection there end. When speaking to cpw they said voda would not allow me to have anymore contracts, i have 2 due to run out in 13 weeks. I passed credit check with cpw but not voda. Cpw said to return phones to nearest store but not till i get my money back i said. Now the bloke sounded shaky on the phone for some reason like he made a mistake not doing proper checks with voda before supplying phone, just wondering if i might get away with keeping em lol as im not returning until i get my money back or they ask for the phones in writing. Would be wicked if.... never that lucky.

so - take them back get the refund and in 13 weeks when your properly entitled to have the new phones - do it again

lol i should be ashamed of myself for even thinking of being dis honest, in my defence i was going to buy some new wheels with the proceeds, note the word was, does this make it ok lol.

The police do have to prove "Permanently" however... If your intention is to give back after a refund its not theft...

Police wouldn't touch it as its a civil matter...

that much i know. What really gets me is when your tied into a mobile contract and you want to cancel they charge you the earth, always goes in there favour, still no real harm done should be thankful really could have gotten quiet complicated if left any longer.

This is a valid point and if you do feel like challenging it try calling oftel or the local Trading standards office and seek advice
