Oh my! I've always wanted to get some more V6ness out of my engine and that sounds great!

What exhaust have you got? Any difference in power? I must get one of these.

Apollo will make the engine sound deeper on any engine I would imagine. Gives you a great burble and note under acceleration. As for performance increase. There isn't really much, but it has reduced some flat spots and certainly hasn't decreased over all power.

As for exhaust.... None its stock. All that sound you hear is the induction growl

Put it on a mates old Corsa B and even on that little 4 pot engine, made it sound like a V6

    Fantastic!

I've had a flick around the net and there doesn't seem to be a kit specific to the Vectra, can I just ask which one you used or part number?

    Cheers

Its a universal kit mate. Easiest thing to install ever.

    Rip the standard airbox out.

    Buy a 90degree silicone bend.

    Same as my setup below.

    Cool.

So is the pipe that goes from TB to the MAF included? The standard pipe looks like it may be a little too long.

Also, do you not have an air feed on the end of the enclosure?

    Sorry for all the questions!

    Cheers

The pipe isn't included. All you get is a crappy cardboard and silver lined pipe that I chucked straight away as the silver lining was peeling and didn't want it sucked into the engine.

I modified the bit of pipe that went from the air intake snorkle to the airbox, then connected the end of the Apollo to that. Although during winter here I've taken the end off and have it just sucking air from the engine bay as its nice and cool and the sound is a lot louder

I was thinking of doing the same with the air feed, great minds eh!

Is the elbow 80mm? The pipe TB to MAF is 80mm to 70mm(?) reducer?

I bought one of these to try on mine. No cold air feed except for the std one that I left in there. Its worth trying before splashing out on a more expensive one if your not sure.

That was my plan but I have never bothered with a sealed one, this is louder and I have NEVER suffered from heat soak that I am aware of.
