Assuming this is the 1.9CDTi, then it does have a cambelt.

Mine is the same I have 75000 on and mine is a 2006 I will be getting mine done next year at about 85000 I will do it

Question is I am a very good guy with mechanical skills I do most jobs my self on my car but do I attempt the cambelt change I am confident I can do it all I am scared about is getting the timing wrong and messing up my car

Is it really just a case of marking up the cam and crank pulleys making sure they don't move the fit new belt making sure they hav still not moved and job done

Remeber to fit a new waterpump while you're at it. This is the main cause of cambelt failures.

I would always use the timing locking tools when replacing the belt, rather than relying on any timing marks and hoping that they stay lined-up.

With the locking tools, you can't go wrong! (unless you don't remove them before trying to start the engine up)

The locking kit is available for about £45 on eBay - click
