Default Advice Needed - Steering Wheel Vibration

Hi All. Need a bit of help and advice on this one. Had a puncture repaired on the right front tyre a couple of weeks ago. The tyre had a new valve and balance, but at motorway speeds I was getting some steering wheel vibration (not bad but annoying enough). Thinking it was a wheel balance issue, I then had both front wheels balanced at a different place, but the problem is still there. I don't recall having this issue before the puncture repair.

Has anyone come across this before or have any advice on things to check?

Did the rim get pushed out of true when you got the puncture as it may just have a small buckle throwing the wobble up to you when driving

The tyre didn't actually go flat. It was just losing pressure over time. There was a nail at the bottom of the tread groove.

    Smile

we've had a couple of similar threads to this recently

try swapping front to rear and see if it goes away.

i had real problems once with a new pair of goodyear eagles.

balanced x4 times and still not right.

in end put them on back and all was fine.

    must just have been unlucky
