    Default autoglym extra gloss

keep meaning to get some of this but have been told only to use it after using autoglym srp first. Has anyone any thoughts on this product and is it a must you polish the paint work first, and am i ok to stick with megs polish from the 3step system.

I have always used it after AG SRP but thats because up untill now its all ive used, but that's not to say you cant use it after any polish. I certainly wouldn't recommend you use it say after washing the car, ive always looked on it as a top coat to use after applying polish.

i used to be a big fan of autoglym, but for some reason switched to megs, so have only got megs products. i normally just wash the car and apply megs spray wax but every now and then i polish it too so was gonna use this after the polish as a sealer. cant wait to get it ive heard it a very good product

Ive used it for years, but tbh there are better products out there, not many that go on or come off as easy though. Halfords are doing 2 for 1 on all cleaning chemicals the now so defiantly a good time to get some to try.

I tried Turtle Was Ice Paste, and was very impressed.

Unlike other waxes, you actually use water with this one to make the paste up (its in a sold state in a tub when you buy it).

Before buying i asked a couple of bodyshops who use a lot of different waxes, and they recommended the ice paste as it is very easy to apply and easy to buff off.

I really like the fact that when you are applying it, if you get a trickle of water under the door handle, or on the weatherstrips etc it doesnt ruin the waz you have put on.

I would definitely tell anyone to try it, its less than a tenner and i think its well worth the price.

As ewan has said egp has been largely overtaken by newer products ,egp is the best one that can be readily aquired from mainstream shops. If your serious about your car detailing then go for either jetseal 109 or optimum optiseal both available from the specialist detailing outlets.
