Thread: Afl Headlight Bulb types..

    Default Afl Headlight Bulb types..

    Below my car's photo (2005 GTS 2.0T). I fitted newly afl headlights. All functions are working.. But i wonder what type of bulbs that cornering lights and high beams ( H1, H11, or what ) have.They are different from old ones (H7) And i couldnt open indicator bulbs cover, how can i open ?..Anyone know those ?

    And i wanna ask something. I bought them from UK thats why light screening is inverted. ( our traffic is goes from right, yours from left) Beam should be like this..



    But mine is mirrored to left-right.. Some people say you can fix it easily. Do you know the way to fix it ?

    They should be xenons in those as thats what they came equipped with if they were a factory option. On the non afl lights there is a little lever under the bulb cover to flick over.

    Are you sure there is no lever in my headlights to set them left handed driving ?

    Anyone know where is that lever pls help..

    to switch its abutally a fuse you either have to put in or remove on the AFL.. (cant remember witch.. check manual..)

    You cant access the indicatorbulp sorry, but thats how it is.. (another user fikse have been looking in to this)

    May i ask what you had to change to get all the AFL working on a prefacelift as im interested in that.. (also if you get the wrong light distribution sorted)

    Headlights, sockets, cable connections ( according to tis 2000) hll control unit to afl control unit and aluminium units that under the headlights...

    Also i checked my fusebox, number 37 is about afl light distribution really. I will fix it today...If you insert any big size fuse to 37, it makes rhd to lhd and activate afl light on dashboard. Thats what i forget to consider...

    I have had original xenon before. If i didnt i would need xenon height sensors front axle and rear axle, xenon type switch, ballasts and etc.. Do you have xenon ?
