    Default Disc sizes again

    Hi

Have just bought new uprated disc pads for my 06 1.9CDTI today, and they are on there way.
I have run the pads right down whilst trying to find 314mm or VXR set up, with no luck, so....just now flicking through the internet what do i come across, but TWO potential cars with the set up, so here what i need, the two cars are:
    2005 2.8i 24v V6 Turbo Elite Hatchback 5d 2784cc
    2003 3.2i V6 24v Elite Hatchback 5d 3175cc auto

......are the brakes their running the 314mm set up at the front, & 292mm at the rear?
If these cars are running the set up i want, i'm going to need the calipers, & the caliper brackets right?

Your help will be greatly received.

    Cheers
    Robert

The 2.8 will be but the 3.2 might be 302's due to the age of it

2005 3.2 SHOULD be 314's mate - but both definitely are 292 vented rears. The 3.0 diesel also has this setup.

And yes, you'll need the calipers and carriers which hold the pads and attach the whole malarchy to the strut...

Changeover from 302 to 314mm on 3.2 came in 2003 so some run bigger.

I got my 314 + 292 caliper / carrier from scrap dealer from 53 plate

£200 for all 4. Not bad given Vx wanted £200 for 2 carriers for front end alone

to be honest its best to go with tape measure to scrappy then you can make sure

ps i have spare 302mm front calipers / carriers should anyone want them

The changeover point from 302's to 314's on the 3.2 was from chassis number 31070294 and onwards.
