    Lightbulb CID Video input

Going to make a video input board to allow AV input from reverse camera or other video sources, just wondering how many you you will be interested? (we can share the cost for PCB...)

I planned to have two way video input, one VGA and one S video.

Would like to hear any ideas??

I think Penfold has done this. You can buy the kit on ebay.

yep, this is true..the chap who sells these is HardwareKiller from agerman forum.

Cost for the complete kit is about 180 euros.

I did google some information, can see HardwareKiller do these mods perfectly. Just think 180 euro is too much for something cost much less than these ....

Possibly - but in the same way anything you build yourself will work out cheaper than buying pre-built when it comes to small scale products. With his kit you get something that already works and doesn't need hours of testing and refinement etc.

You get what you pay for mate, and if you can get it working for less than the cost of mine then crack on...

Thanks Penfold, the LCD(LTA058B110D) itself comes with a PAL/NTSC input, shouldn't be very difficult....i just need a rbg anyway...if i buy a LCD driver module(comes with most function provided by that 180 euro video interface), that will be £7......if make a customized board, of course cost will exceed £80(£50 for PCB)...
