Default Where is the Aircon Drain pipe?

I'm after a quick pointer to where to find the pipe that takes the Condesation water out of the Vectra C to the outside.

My car is filling the drivers footwell with water. I'm sure the end located behind the dashboard has split or come off where it's supposed to be.

I've checked behind the wiper under the flap and that drain is OK.

Trying to avoid a wasted/expensive day at the dealer if two screws and common sense can fix.

I have never looked but on other cars it's always been found hanging down in the centre of the car near the bulkhead between the engine bay and passenger compartment.

It is on the bulkhead on the drivers side. When you look at it, it only sticks out of the bulkhead about an inch and the end of it is '+' shaped. Look just above the steering rack when you're trying to find it

After the recent rains, you might do well to check that the scuttle drains are clear and that the footwell water isn't coming in via the pollen filter housing.

That would be my though, or the windscreen seal letting water through. The only other time I've heard of water in footwell is from a heater leak.

I had this on two Citroën C4's (one if several thousand common problems). You'd be amazed how much water it can empty into the car. I got two buckets out with the wet and dry vac and the carpet was still sodden. Don't think either ever dried fully. I used a stiff metal coat hanger to clear the tubes.

Have you checked the drain hole on the drivers side mate as a lot of people don't as they 're not aware that one is even there,; not that easy to access unlike the passenger side, but if you look down thru the honeycombe part of the water deflector where you can see a part of the wiper linkage it's tucked down in there.HTH read thru this post it might help http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showth...ide+drain+hole
    Cheers Pete
