Well today finally i got 2 "small" mods done to the car..

ive had the bits lying around for like 9 months now.... (but now i can get some other mods done)

Star Silver Roofrails put on instead of black ones.
And fitted new rear quater with chrome strip, and chrome strips on the other windows nice

    Some transformation i must say

I can say they are in my shred..

they wont be for sale.. but give away... BUT you will have to find a courier that are willing to transport that long goods.. (i can try to wrap them at best ability) (and remember that i live abroard in Denmark)

The 8 bolts i have but the 2 front plasic fixing is broken (well they where on those i put one, so took my old ones that wasnt broken) but know that Tramman didnt fit his in..

    pic:

Tramman hadnt roofrails before hi fitted his so he will know how to do it

For me it was just disconnect battery, drop rooflining, remove side airbag, loosen 8 bolt, and then just refit..

Edit: you cant see in the picture that that lug i broken off both of them.

I like the idea of storing the roof box up in the air. That is the sort of thing I would do, and do in my garage.

    Thanks for the comment guys

Ditchp about time yes... but the missus constant using the car.. but today she had some friends home, so made use of the opertunity.. all bits took 5 hours.. due to disturbments all the time.. (lunch 1 hour, desert 1 hour, coffey and cake 1 hour).

But now i can go on removing the aerial ill then use the alarm threads in the rear windows.. as i dont have an alarm...

Thanks, i just have to remember that i cant walk under it, and dont reverse in.. (aerial to long, and me being more than 175 cm high...) but its actually the only place i have room for it.. was thinking of having the roofbars attached to the box.. but then its even further down..
