Default 2004 Signum 2.0 DTI loosing power and showing faults

    Please Help

Faults P0638-5B Throttle control circuit positive deviation and P0234 (5B) boost pressure control circuit positive deviation.

Car looses power when driving, but when you re-start it goes back to normal for a while.

Anyone know what I should be looking at/how much?

I'm no mechanic - but have good workshop manuals and access to opcom, so if someone who knows about this stuf could give me a bit of guidance I might be able to save some money.

Any help appreciated, and, thanks in advance!!

Hello all - I managed to clean the bits you advised but it didn't solve the problem.

Turns out that it was a leaky hose (I couldn't fing it myself) but the mechanic replaced it for £35 all in.

Anyone give me tips for finding a leak in a hose?

I didn't want to start taking them all off to dip in water, as I'd probably craack them trying to take them off?

Anyhow - all fixed and a lott cheaper than I was thinking it might end up.
