    Ebay for both.

You might find someone selling a duff CD70 for spares.

Watch out for counterfeit map CDs.

I need a jog dial if you get a new front. I asked for a part number a few weeks ago and still waiting.

Updated maps vary a lot in price - anywhere from £20 on ebay to £169 from Navteq.

I still see some 2005 discs going for £40 on e-bay.

Just shop around...also look on ebay.de or ebay germany, and make an offer of about half the price that the sellers are usually asking...aim for about £35 ish.

Firmware update discs are approx £5 from Vx - it's a use once type of thing.

I have heard, that discs newer than 2009 are less accurate, and also they move a way from TMC, instead using the lesser Traffic Master system.

If it helps, my firmware is 04/04/2007, and my maps are October 2007...the maps are still more upto date than my 2009 tom tom maps.

Direct from Navteq, the 2010/2011 UK & Ireland disc is currently £89.

All of western Europe disc is £199.

must have dropped their prices, now that the cd70 is obsolete

the price I quoted was correct on the navteq web-site a couple of years ago.
