    Default BSR customer service..hmmmmmmm

Well you may have read about my car on the R/R not having the map on ...
I tried installing and unstalling ..then the box locked up .......I tried the Resync that the ppc advises .but because ive not paid the £80 a year they are now asking for for their customer support.the computors says nO.........so at the moment I have a very expensive box with a couple of wires..
Ive call BSR.uk three times now and still nothing ...apart from we will look into this for you .
Ive done a search trying to find where BSR first stated that we had a lifetime customer service guarrentee..but as yet cant find it ....so I dont know if anyone can help on that score plz .

Keep your chin up mate! still can't see how they can just change the agreement after you have agreed to it.

Lifetime support or not, the Sale Of Goods Act should apply. Get your money back and get a decent remap.

You are required to get reasonable use for your money and clearly, with the cost of that box, it should be working for more than a couple of years.

Much as I love my BSR remap, I was the first person on this forum to comment on BSR's change of service agreement when it appeared in their BSR news email, I was not complimentary in the least toward them for this. Everyone to his own I know but in principal I would never cough up £80/annum for their service agreement (almost paying again the initial purchase fee over a 5 year period). I would rather do without.

Maybe Duncan will have the info regarding the lifetime guarantee Ian. He's got the same remap
