Difficult one, as you can`t really get it fixed via tech 2 and tell them how it happened. Have you tried the obvious ones like pushing the brake pedal foot well clear of the clutch. It could be the clutch spring and just be a coincidence that it happened with the remap, though I have heard of weird things happening after remaps or tech 2 sessions ...

p.s ....Go on, give us some of your juicy figures

mine does this occasionally, a solid stomp on the brake, pull up, turn off ignition and go again and its fine. Does once every couple of months. Hope yours gets sorted Mickey. Hows the car driving after the remap, never mind the figures, whats the drive like?

The car was absolutely rapid on the test drive.
As explained in the pm, with diesels it is not always the result you want when the dyno run is done after the map as the fuel pressure is low due to the ecu removal or dme conection and you need miles to bring the pressure back up.
After a few miles the figure always increases and i am 100% confident you will be over the moon with the work.
The ecu map has no connection with the cruise control so this is deffo a case of nasty timing.

As i said, i am more than happy to check the car over but please do the battery disconection as i am sure this will have a good result.
Likewise, if your not without any doubt 100% happy i will gladly refund you in full.
I dont wash my hands of customers after work and will always do all i can to satisfy them fully. (not in a sexual way though)

I don't know whether this acts the same on the pre-facelift Vectra c, but until the brake pedal is pressed for the first time when driving , then CC will not work. Often folk sthink there is a problem especially when on the motorway where have stopped at services the CC does not work because the brake has not be touched.
