Default Airbag Light on and off

    Hello

    2004 Vec DTI

I have the airbag light come on and off, I have had a quick look under the seats to see if its a loose conenction but I cant see it or feel a loose connection,

The front seats do get moved quite a bit as me and the missus both drive it!!

Is there anything else that could be causing this?

    Thanks

    Rich

If you have checked the seat connections maybe its time to get the fault code read to narrow down which one is causing problems.

I had this on my 02 DTi and it was a losse connector under the passenger seat. I know you said you've had a look but my connector into the black box looked in but it wasn't quite in-enough. A good firm push and a click later the light went off.

If you are sure its in then its code-reader time I'm afraid.

    Thanks for info

If the airbag comes on and stays on, there would be a fault, Surely if its on then off, then off for a few days, then on for a few days, its a loose connection!
I will have a good look under both seats and the black box under there! Then its code reader time!! Fingers crossed its nothing major!!

    Cheers

    Rich

A loose connection is a fault. A code reader that can read the air bag system will tell you exactly where to start looking.
